IKEA
Every year as we ease into the colder months, design enthusiasts and IKEA fans around the world wait with bated breath for the beloved Swedish home brand to reveal their annual catalog. It's the first chance we get to see the retailer's latest launches styled beautifully alongside old favorites in an array of beautiful homes, and 2021's version is as stylish as ever.
The theme of IKEA's 2021 catalog is "The Handbook For a Better Everyday Life at Home," so you'll find a variety of ideas and items that make life at home a little easier. And thanks to the current climate—and the increase in time spent at home—this theme couldn't be more timely.
"We’ve filled each page with the kind of thinking that has been the foundation of our range for all these years—the little things that can make a big difference to everyday life. It’s full of inspiration and information on ways to make homes around the world cozier, smarter, more sustainable and more beautiful for the wonderful people who live in them," the IKEA team explains.
Ready to see what IKEA has in store for 2021? The digital version of the catalog is available for IKEA Family Members now, while the general public can access the digital catalog starting Monday, October 26th. A physical version of the catalog is likely to come out later this year, but a set date has yet to be announced.
In the meantime, read on to see some of our favorite finds from the 2021 IKEA catalog.

This beautiful space features a stylish kitchen that opens up onto a balcony filled with smart IKEA finds. The cabinetry is part of the brand's SEKTION line, and the outdoor table and chairs are part of the TÄRNÖ line.
According to IKEA, the "wooden floor tiles help make the garden feel like another room of the home, with the string lights overhead giving a magical ceiling-like effect during dinner parties."

In honor of the catalog's milestone 70th birthday, IKEA went into its archive to find some old favorites from the brand's past. In this chic dining space, an ÖGLA dining chair with arms (available from 1969-1977) is styled alongside modern trends like jade green cabinetry and rattan lighting.

As many of us continue to work from home for the foreseeable future, crafting an inspiring home office is top of mind, even when you're lacking in the space department. Here, IKEA shows how you can repurpose a wall-mounted shelf (the EKBY ALEX) as a desk and pair it with a neutral swivel chair (the ODGER) for a perfect small space solution.

This year's catalog proves that even the brand itself loves a good IKEA hack. In this bedroom the SVENSHULT wall shelf is hung on its side to create the perfect space for a bookworm to lay their tomes before bed.
